Requesting visits is done most easily from “My Schedule”. To access “My Schedule”, make sure the left-hand menu is open (may require clicking the 3 horizontal bars in the top left corner of the screen). Click “My Schedule”.
There is a toolbar across the top of this screen with options for Select all, Refresh, Calendar view (will be a calendar icon with the duration next to it [Month, 2 week, 3 day, etc.]), Tools, Colors, Search, Request Service.
- Select all will allow you to select all of the visits you see in your current view, and either add a note to every visit or add a tip to each service selected. So a flat $5 tip applied to 6 visits would apply a total of a $30 tip.
- Refresh will update your calendar to the most current view.
- Calendar view can be used to change the number of days/weeks you see at one time.
- Tools gives you the option to export, subscribe to a iCal feed (this syncs your Precise Pet Care calendar with your other calendar apps; this can ONLY be done from a web browser, NOT the app), or print our current view.
- Colors will give you a guide to what the color of the visits on your calendar mean. White is requested, white and striked out is unavailable, yellow is pending assignment (you generally shouldn’t see this), green is confirmed and assigned, blue is in progress, grey and striked out is cancelled, grey is completed.
- Search will allow you to search the calendar for visits you have previously scheduled.
Request service is what you will use to request any and all services! This includes vacation care, day trip care, as-needed dog walking, and recurring dog walking.
Vacation care (when you will be away overnight, requiring care for 2 or more days)
- Select the first date you will need us to see your pets, and the last date you will need us to see your pet. Leave it set to repeat daily. This will cause the services that you chose to auto generate on each day of your trip.
- Under “Trip/Travel Information”, select “New Trip”. Trip information will be used if there is ever an instance where communication is lost with the pet owner, as well as to verify that first and last visits are booked appropriately.
- Trip name should tell us where you’re going; Departure Date/Time should be when you are leaving home (NOT when you need us for the first visit); Return Date/Time should be when you are expecting to return home (NOT when you need us for the last visit). Itinerary should include where you’ll be traveling (and when, if you’ll be travelling to multiple places in the same trip), Contact details should include a name, address, and phone number for the place you’re staying. Additional notes should be anything else you think we should know (like if you’ll be our of cellular range, without data, etc.).
- Select the pets that will need care while you’re away.
- Select the services & times you’d like. Use the “Add another service/time” to request more than one service in a day. For morning and evening 30 minute visits, you’ll have two lines: 30 minute drop-in morning, 30 minute drop-in evening. If you have a time preference or want to make a note of what needs to be done in that visit, you can use the “Notes”. Please be aware that while we will do our best to accommodate specific time requests, visits may be any time in the requested block unless time sensitive medications are needed.
- If you are requesting more than one visit a day, you will see two boxes appear: Skip on first day, Skip on last day. Because all of the visits you request are applied to each day you’re away, these options allow for modification of the first and last day. Per our previous example, if you are leaving in the afternoon on the first day and do not need us to come in the morning, you’ll select “30 minute drop-in – morning”
- Finally, click “Submit”
Day Trip Care, As Needed Dog Walking (when you will be away for the day but returning home at night)

Recurring Dog Walking (for dog walking that will take place the same day(s) and time on a weekly(ish) basis)
- Select the first date that you need dog walking; you only need to select the first date.
- Select the frequency you want dog walking done: weekly will generate the walk(s) every week; More options will generate “Other repeat” with a long list of options (every other day/week, every 3/4/5 week, or irregular. We don’t suggest using the monthly option due to a lack of ability to customize.
- Select the days of the week that you want weekly/irregular walks to happen. For weekly walks, you’ll select the days of the week off the Mon-Sun list that is generated. For irregular walks, it will generate a calendar which you will use to select specific days (click a box to select it, and it will be dark grey; it will be light grey when you click another box; simply reselect a box to “undo” the request); this will NOT repeat.
- Select the pets that will need care while you’re away.
